Veerabhoomi Resort

A Great Place To Experience The Traditional Heritage Culture.

Kodagu is popularly known as “the land of warriors”. Coorg consistently contributes a lot to the national army even today. In the cultural memory of such brave soldiers and rich customs, we traditionally started Veerabhoomi for the willing people who travel to Coorg. So that they vicariously experience the historical customs of the land. Since 2003, Veerabhoomi tourist village was registered under the private limited.

The tourist village is lavishly decorated with monumental objects and memories like a fort, decorative carvings, canon, bullock, and the royal swimming pool. Each luxurious cottage is named after popular dynasties that ruled India like Chalukya, Hoysala, Kadamba, etc. Sit out areas are named after great rivers. Ac cottages are named after the great mountains in the surroundings like Brahmagiri, Sahyadri, etc. In the view of presenting the royal custom and royal environment, we designate and address the CEO as the King. The president as the minister, manger as the dewan, security as the soldier, cook as paakathagna, artist as kalamani, and we address every guest as 'rajabhandu'.

During the lawful king’s visit to the kingdom, local people used to arrange various cultural performances like folk dances, folk songs and classic games for the delightful entertainment of the royal family. To reflect the same hospitality in Veerabhoomi for our royal guest, we arrange the cultural events like folk dance and regional songs for relaxation, indoor and outdoor games for enthusiastic and sportive tourists. Historic library with monumental book collections for bright and knowledgeable guests. Coorg Spices, homemade chocolates for shopping guests. Food is a part of the cultural tradition, so we arrange delicious food from various historical regions. A well-maintained garden with various rare kinds of fragrant flowers for peacefulness, children’s play park for naturally encouraging activeness in our future generation. The stay is typically surrounded (includes in the premises) by the farmland of banana trees, Chickoo trees, jackfruit trees, coffee, and pepper plantations. We additionally provide the internet and massage services for tourists. The tourist village is strategically placed for our guests to easily access to all places.

Nice .well maintained. Good service Harangi dam, Nisargadhama, Dubare and Golden temple tourists places are very nearest to this resort. Roughly 2 to 3 kms from Kushalnagar town. Rooms are well furnished. Yummy food available. Good location. All most all tourist places are surrounding to this resort within 80 to 100 kms.
